TERMS OF SERVICE
The displaying of items for sale on our website does not constitute an ‘offer’.
Instead, it is an invitation for third parties (customers) to make an offer to purchase our products.
By placing an item in your shopping basket, you are making an offer to buy those items at the price listed, and on the terms specified on our website. However, a binding contract will only be formed on the acceptance of an order with Birch and Bumble, and when we confirm receipt of the order.
When an order has been received, we can reject the order for any reason, although we would not reject any orders without making contact with you in the first instance. Reasons for cancellations could include but are not limited to, items that are currently out of stock, issues involved in the production of your order or any postal service issues.
For any and all personalised products, it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the required personalisation. Please ensure you have spellchecked your personalisation before submitting your order. As no personalised items will be able to be refunded due to spelling mistakes (unless the mistake has been made by Birch and Bumble UK).
Wood grain and colour may vary slightly in comparison to the stock image(s) on our website. This is due to it being a natural wood product, and no two items will be identical.
As with any laser engraved or cut products, there may be a slight burn smell initially, but this will quickly fade.
We have a standard processing time of between 3-4 working days for the production of your products in addition to sending via Royal Mail 1st Class post for items up to 1kg (small parcel definition).
Larger items will be sent via a next day courier service, and this should be factored into the overall processing and delivery times.
In the event of your product being lost or damaged due to the Royal Mail delivery service. The buyer should undertake an application for "Making a Claim" via the Royal Mail Website (Link). In the event that this occurs with our courier service, we advise you to use the claims process of the specified courier delivery service in the same way. We will not be held responsible for the loss or damage or any of our items during transit or delivery with any service, and as such we will not be responsible for refunding any monies paid. Your product(s) will be dispatched in transit safe and supportive packaging, and as such we will not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage or any other issues as a result of the delivery service. In the event that the buyer needs to make a claim with the delivery service, we will on all occasions work with the buyer to provide evidence in support of their claim, where it is possible for us to provide sufficient evidence of packaging or the receipt of purchase of delivery. We will retain all proof of postage for your purchased product(s) as part our contract with you, and by going ahead with your purchase you are agreeing to these terms as being fair and acceptable.
